Romans 8:28 (King James Version)
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
All I can say is WOW!!! The story of Baby Kelsey has touched me in so many ways. Andy and Patti, Thank you for showing us all how to become better persons and to Love unconditionally. I wish I could have had the opportunity to meet Baby Kelsey and know that one day I'll have that opportunity. I was able to make it to the Memorial today and must say that I left there a changed person. You guys have showed us all that there are truly wonderful people out there and the spirit of Unconditional Love that you guys have had during this whole ordeal is just what sticks out the most to me... Thank you for sharing your story with us...I pray continued strength and comfort during the coming days for you guys. Baby Kelsey has a special place in my heart now.
With Love,

A Heavy Burden...
Well, I decided that I'm gonna start something new and blog. We'll see how this goes for a while.
Here lately, I've had a pretty heavy burden on my heart for a certain indivudial whom I met during the Summer Months at a Children's Camp this past year. I hesitated for a while about going because I really didn't know what to expect... This guy is a diagnosed Hemophiliac who's lived pretty much his entire life with this disease. If you don't know what Hemophilia is, it's a blood disorder that if not treated and you receive an injury with an open wound, you can bleed to death. As the hours and days progressed, I slowly learned a little more about him and his family. To make a long story short, I'd made an amazing new friend in this guy. He'd talked about his little son whom he absolutely loved and adored and then let all the kids and myself know that he and his wife were expecting a new baby soon down the road. We were all excited for him and his family.
Well, after camp was over we lost contact for a few weeks then I ended up getting back in touch with him and his family and found out that on August 4th 2009 his wife gave birth a few months early to a baby girl... This child was soon after birth diagnosed with down syndrome and things started to spiral downhill for them. This family has kept such an amazingly positive attitute over the past several months that I know this baby girl is going to continue to grow and be healthy beyond more ways than this family could ever imagine... I'd like to ask that you keep them in your prayers if possible and lift up their baby girl, Kelsey... I know that they would definately appreciate it. Check out their website if you get a chance...
